• Hand-shaped, heavy copper pot with forged and riveted wrought-iron handles
• Excellent for rustic farmhouse or kitchen decor
• The collar around the base was originally designed to be used with an antique cast-iron wood stove. This collar would seal the base directly over the flames while sealing the opening to keep smoke out of the kitchen.

CONDITION

Shows overall wear including a dark oxidized interior patina, surface scratches, and minor tarnish consistent with age. Inner lining shows typical wear of antique copperware of this period and will require professional re-tinning if intended for use with food.
