This is a listing for an HO / 1/87th scale EMD GP7 Diesel Locomotive. Item was manufactured by Life-Like under the Proto 2000 brand name and is made from plastic and diecast. Item is in mint condition. As you may be aware many older Proto 2000 locomotives have faulty wheel set gears. The loco will make a clickety clack sound when running. This model has had brand new Walthers replacement geared wheel sets, made specifically for this model, which were installed just prior to making this listing. It was then tested and the item ran smoothly and quietly. Features reversing front and rear lights. Includes the original box and accessory set. Item is DC but is DCC ready. Model is factory decorated for CB&Q cab #254. Loco is approx. 7.50" long.
