Original Soviet WWII illustrated military field-post letter dated December 30, 1943, featuring a Red Army soldier carrying a Soviet banner.

The illustrated front depicts a Soviet soldier advancing with a large red flag bearing the Soviet star, with other Red Army troops following behind.

Below the illustration is the wartime propaganda slogan:
“Под знаменем Ленина под водительством Сталина — вперед за разгром немецких оккупантов и изгнание их из пределов нашей Родины!”
Translation:
“Under the banner of Lenin, under the leadership of Stalin — forward to defeat the German occupiers and drive them from the borders of our Motherland!”

The letter was genuinely used as wartime correspondence and was sent through the Soviet military postal system. It retains field-post cancellations and military censorship markings.

The handwritten letter inside is dated:
December 30, 1943
The address side is sent to Guryev, Kazakh SSR, and the sender information includes a Soviet field-post number.

The interior contains an extensive handwritten personal message, providing an authentic example of Red Army wartime correspondence from the final days of 1943.

Dimensions (folded): 93 × 147 mm (3.66 × 5.79 in).
