This listing is for an antique print on woven cotton fabric picturing Hebrew University and stamped on the back "MADE IN PALESTINE". Hebrew University opened in 1925 and pictured is the first building constructed on its campus. This is likely from around the time of the opening. This may have been made by a Bezalel artist but it is unsigned.
This print measures 14" x 9 1/2". It is marked on the front with stencil printing "THE UNIVERSITY IN JERUSALEM" in English and Hebrew. On the back it is marked "MADE IN PALESTINE JERUSALEM" along with some letters and numbers that were probably a product number.
This is in wonderful condition for its age but with a few loose threads around the edge and a couple light fold lines. This is from a smoke-free home.
