The VS-42HC 4x2 Component Video & Digital Audio Matrix Switcher from Comprehensive/Kramer is designed for use with component video and S/PDIF signals. It is designed for home theater applications, professional audio-video work, or any other setting or application that requires a solution that can route any or all inputs to any or all outputs simultaneously.

It offers bandwidth capacity of 200MHz and is HDTV compatible. Other features include a multiple sampling rates, programmable audio delay, audio breakaway switching, and memory locations. A take button will execute multiple switches at once. The unit can be controlled via its front-panel interface, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, or IR remote control.

A front-panel lockout feature prevents unauthorized access and tampering. The unit includes a worldwide power supply. It is equally well suited for standalone or rackmount placement.
