These are genuine USA-made Westinghouse 7N7 vacuum tubes in their original factory boxes. The 7N7 is a Loctal-base dual triode that is electrically equivalent to the popular 6SN7 when used with the appropriate adapter. These tubes are commonly sought after by audiophiles, vintage radio restorers, communications receiver enthusiasts, and collectors of classic electronic equipment.
These tubes are being sold as untested. They were acquired as part of a very large estate collection containing thousands of vintage vacuum tubes. While I do own professional tube testing equipment, I simply do not have the time to test every boxed NOS tube in this collection. For that reason, these tubes are being sold as untested.
One tube was removed from its original box for photographs to document the tube type and overall cosmetic condition. The photographed tube appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition with bright original Westinghouse lettering, clean glass, bright silver getter flashing, straight pins, and no visible cracks or chips. The remaining tube remains in its original factory box. The original boxes show light shelf and storage wear consistent with age.
