These are genuine USA-made Westinghouse 6X4 vacuum tubes in their original boxes. The 6X4 is a full-wave rectifier tube commonly found in vintage radios, hi-fi amplifiers, communications receivers, reel-to-reel tape recorders, test equipment, and other classic electronic equipment. Westinghouse is recognized for producing high-quality American-made vacuum tubes that continue to be sought after by collectors, restorers, and vintage electronics enthusiasts.
These tubes are being sold as untested. They were acquired as part of a very large estate collection containing thousands of vintage vacuum tubes. While I do own professional tube testing equipment, I simply do not have the time to test every boxed NOS tube in this collection. For that reason, these tubes are being sold as untested.
One tube was removed from its original box for photographs to document the tube type, markings, and overall cosmetic condition. That tube appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition with bright original Westinghouse lettering, clean glass, straight pins, and no visible cracks or chips. The remaining two tubes remain in their original boxes and have not been removed for inspection. The original boxes show light shelf and storage wear consistent with age.
