If you are keeping a front derailleur, whether for the close ratios, the climbing range or a touring build, this is the pair Shimano makes for it. 2x12-speed drivetrains, clamp band mount

This is the complete left and right pair for a 2x12-speed Shimano mountain drivetrain. The left lever runs the front derailleur (2-speed), the right lever runs the 12-speed rear. It uses a clamp band, so it fits a standard handlebar independently of your brakes. Two things to check. This is not I-SPEC EV, so it does not bolt onto a Shimano brake lever. And if you run 1x, you only need the right shifter, which we also stock separately. Works with XT M8100, SLX M7100 and Deore M6100 12-speed rear derailleurs.
