This listing is for a circa 1880 Victorian Advertising Trade Card from Loeb & Co maker of Boots And Shoes in Chicago, Illinois. The 1873 Chicago City Directory lists Adolph Loeb as the owner. The Kaplan Collection of Early American Judaica at the University of Pennsylvania has a different trade card from Loeb & Co. in their collection. This trade card measures 5" x 6 1/2".
The card reads "Compliments of LOEB & CO., Manufacturers of and Dealers in BOOTS and SHOES, 2137 Archer Avenue, Chicago."
Except for a small tear near the top right hand side, this is in very good condition.
