This colorful period advertising piece features the iconic Parker Quink ink bottle and retail carton together with the classic slogan “The ink that cleans your pen as it writes.” The bottom of the advertisement carries the historic distributor information “Messrs IMPORTERS & EXPORTERS LTD., 9, Forbes Street, Fort, Bombay-1.” Unlike an ordinary magazine or paper advertisement, this is a transparent advertising image designed to be viewed with transmitted light, potentially through an illuminated commercial display or projection arrangement.
