Type: passive, no power required

Converts 2-channel AES/EBU digital audio between balanced 110 ohm XLR

and unbalanced 75 ohm BNC coaxial. Passive conversion from 110 ohm XLR3

output at 4.5V to 75 ohm BNC coax, and back again to a 110 ohm XLR3

input at 200mV minimum.

Allows much longer cable runs than 110 ohm twisted pair, and gives

excellent rejection against hum and noise.

Standard in post production suites, DAT routing, recording studios and

digital audio tie lines. Also lets you distribute AES/EBU through

75 ohm video patchbays.
