Shimano 11-speed mountain, 46T max on 1x

Built for Shimano 11-speed mountain drivetrains (XT M8000, SLX M7000, Deore M5100 and similar). This is the medium cage (GS) version: 46T maximum sprocket on a 1x setup, 42T on 2x, with a 39T total capacity. That covers the common 11-42T and 11-46T cassettes. Running a triple, or need more chain wrap? The long cage SGS version is the one you want. Not included: shift cable and housing. What makes it special

SHADOW RD+ clutch. A switchable friction clutch holds the chain tight over rough ground, which means less chain slap, a quieter bike and far fewer dropped chains.
Medium cage, full range. Takes a 46T cassette on 1x, so you keep the climbing gear without a long cage hanging low where rocks find it.
1x or 2x. Unlike a lot of modern derailleurs this still handles a front shift properly, useful if you are keeping a double.
Shadow low profile body. The derailleur tucks toward the frame, better protected in a crash and less likely to catch trail debris.
