A vintage 1970 Rigby art book showcasing Fred Klix's oil paintings of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. Klix, inspired by the work of Sir Hans Heysen, spent years painting the region's giant River Red Gums, sawtooth ranges, and gorges. The book reproduces his landscape paintings in full colour across locations including Aroona Valley, Brachina Creek, Willochra Creek, Arkaba Creek Waterhole, and Arkaroola, each captioned with the painting's title, description, and owner/collector credit, alongside Klix's own written reflections on painting the Ranges.

Condition: Secondhand hardcover in original pictorial dust jacket. The jacket shows genuine shelf wear — light rubbing, edge wear and a small mark/stain to the upper spine area of the front board beneath, with the boards otherwise clean and sound. Internally the text and colour plates are bright and clean, with a decorative gold-tone endpaper design. Overall a good, well-presented copy.
