19th Century French Ink Blotter 

Champlevé enamel and brass, wood block with pad. 

This would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Lovely blues, deep red and white with a touch of pink and green colors

There is an impressed "V" on the inside which can be seen by removing the block 

ECh is impressed on both sides of the wood block 

Appears to be in overall great vintage condition. All the enamel appears intact. 

Some minor tarnish and the pad is worn. The one side seems just a little wiggly when the block is removed and the joint may have had additional solder added.
