A gorgeous specimen with a unique design and wonderful colors.  It has a wide red band encircling a the squares which are pieced together and have applique shapes on top of them.  The result is eye-popping. The ground is a gray and purple print on white.  It is bound in red and backed in ecru cotton. It is presented on a double/full mattress.

The condition is challenged.  Some of the quilt is in great shape, but we have tried to photograph the places where there is damage.  You will see that several squares are quite spoiled and one length of the red band is damaged.  Aside from these larger issues, there are a number of places where the bits of tufting is showing through.
