This piece is so charming and inventive that it is worth preserving in spite of its flaws. It features four beautifully framed vignettes: the first is 2 elves carrying flatware; the second, 2 elves carrying a soup serving dish; the third, 2 elves carrying a meat platter (turkey?); and the fourth, 2 elves carrying salt and pepper shakers. Surrounding these creatures is a border of scrollwork and fillagree which looks very grand. It is very finely hand stitched in red on a white linen ground. 

Sadly, the condition is poor. It has many holes, as pictures and is in want of restoration. It is missing a few stitches as well. We also find one area of yellowing. Hand laundered - bright and fresh!
