Original vintage WWII-era British military Morse Code telegraph key, marked KEY W.T. 8 AMP No.2 MK.II with additional A.M.C. ZA2906 marking on the underside. This classic wireless telegraphy straight key features a black Bakelite/phenolic-type base and operating lever, large mushroom-shaped finger knob, brass and metal adjustable contacts, screw terminals and remnants of old braided copper connection wiring. Its substantial 8 Amp construction is characteristic of period military wireless and signalling apparatus.
