Set of 6 vintage French snail shell pots, traditionally used for serving snails (escargot), these also make lovely salt dishes, butter dishes, paint pots, or mini plant pots.

Colour is a pale yellow/cream, lovely detailing on the spiral, unglazed bases, and they look handmade due to differences in the finish of the glazing. One or two have slight wear on the upper lip of the shell, as expected with age, otherwise any variations appear to be how they were made.
