Condition: Small octavo hardcover in orange cloth boards with black titling to spine and front board, embossed publisher's device to spine foot. Boards show noticeable wear and rubbing at extremities, with fraying and a small chip at the head of the spine and bumping to corners. Overall soiling and toning to the cloth, with some marks/spotting to the front board. Text block is tanned/toned throughout, consistent with age, with a period owner's ink inscription ("John B. Howard, 'Glandower,' Nhill") to the front free endpaper and a small pencil mark on the facing pastedown. No dust jacket. Binding remains sound and tight.
