Stunning vintage Chinese jacket from Plum Blossoms. Tag size 34, measurements provided below. Royal blue silk satin, heavily and exquisitely embroidered florals and birds in vibrant colors. Has a stiffend Mandarin collar, front welt pockets, side slits, four blue silk pankou knot toggle closures down the front, fully lined in blue silk fabric, and there is a "Plum Blossoms Made in China" label size 34 tag sewn inside. Note that the pockets are deep enough to hold my iPhone (shown in photos 9 and 10). Extra reinforcement around the armholes (photos 23 and 24). There is a snap at the top, and one would need a slim neck to fasten the top snap/closure. Unsure of the exact age, research points to from 50s to 70s, in excellent as-new condition.
