“IT JUST DOESN’T “GET” ANY
BETTER THAN THIS!!
Great gift for the horse
lover in your family, and don’t forget yourself…..

UP FOR AUCTION:
FAMOUS SADDLE HORSES
BY SUSANNE..
Volume III
This one is a special production by the American Saddle Horse Museum Numbered 31
Loaded with lots of really rare photographs by Legendary artist George
Ford Morris
It’s “747” pages.
She died just a few years after
publishing the 3 Volumes of Famous Saddle Horses.
Unfortunately Ebay will only let me show you SOME pictures. I could have put in over a hundred
magnificent pictures..
If you ever “wondered” about anything related to the Saddlebred, you
will find the answers in this book.
Susanne
(Emily Ellen
Scharf) did the Saddlebred industry an incredible service by
researching and compiling all of the records of the early horses.
Susanne gives each horse’s
pedigree, historical notes from interviews, show successes, and their important
offspring. She describes each horse in
detail, i.e., height, color, temperament and what the old timers had to say
about each.
The LEGENDARY artist George Ford
Morris (1873-1960) contributed
tons of photographs, drawings and paintings for this volume. I will show as many as I can.
Dedication: “..TO THE AMATEUR AND JUNIOR EXHIBITORS
I can only “imagine” how
difficult was Susanne’s search for all that is published within these
pages. We must be so grateful to her for
her tireless efforts. From Suzanne’s
“Forward..”
“…This Volume of Famous Saddle
Horses is my answer to the thousands of request reaching me during past 10
years, urging that I bring Famous Saddle Horses up to date and provide a
permanent record of the achievements of today’s prominent show horses and breed
builders, comparable with the records of the horses of yesteryears found in
Volume 1 and 2.” Susanne….
