The gemstone is held in a substantial four-claw setting, with small sparkling accent stones set to either side. The raised open setting allows plenty of light through the main stone and gives the ring an impressive presence on the hand.

The green amethyst has natural internal inclusions which are visible on close inspection and in the photographs. These are within the gemstone rather than damage to the ring.

The inside of the band is stamped 925 TGGC.
