This vintage Houbigant solid perfume compact features a textured starburst dome design and was primarily produced between the 1950s and 1970s. This piece is highly collectible and was designed by the renowned French perfume house, Houbigant, to hold portable solid fragrances, most notable, Chantilly.

There is a little bit of wear on the compact’s outer finish. Stamped “Houbigant” inside. The solid perfume is no longer present, and there is no lingering scent. The clasp holds the compact closed when lying flat, but it is not a tight clasp. The hinges work perfectly.
