Please note that there are two versions of these computer adapters - see photos where variance is shown.

Newer versions have countersunk protusions around each screw hole on the reverse side, which correspond with the latest mounts. They do NOT fit older mounts unless you cut said protusions off.

On older versions of the adapter the area around each screw hole is flat, to match the flat top of older mounts.

The adapter SNAPS securely in place and is secured by M4 screw - the length and head shape of which varies depending on the mount.

The screws are NOT included - please re-use your old ones. Or I can sell some to you; atm I have all sizes. Please contact me for advice - see my other items.

To install, carefully tighten screw to 1/4 turn beyond “finger tight or snug” (1.5Nm max - this may not register on a torque wrench). If you over-tighten the insert may well crack, immediately - or in the near future.

This part was injection-moulded at the Bar Fly Factory using their own nylon composite. It is NOT one of the flakily-scanned and less robust 3D printed copies you may see elsewhere. Weight 4 grams. Screw holes are 20mm apart centre to centre.

Why two? Adapters are designed to fail before your computer does. They will micro-fracture due to stress over time, or suddenly after hitting a pothole or other hazard - that's probably why you're looking here.
