​Up for sale is a fully functional Sharp Viewcam VL-E97 Video 8 Camcorder Kit. Perfect for digitizing or transferring vintage home tapes or capturing authentic 90s retro-style video.

●​Functionality: Fully tested and 100% operational (recording, playback, rewinding, zoom, audio, and menu controls work as intended).

●​Body / Aesthetics: Excellent condition with only minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with light use.

●​LCD Screen: In very good condition with minor surface wear that does not affect playback viewing.

●​Battery Note: The included rechargeable battery does hold a charge, but due to age, we can not guarantee performance or runtime for expected hours. It is included and sold strictly as a testing battery. Continuous power can be used via the included DC coupler setup.

​Tape Case Note: The included Sony Video 8 tape is brand new (only inserted once to test camera functions), but its plastic outer case has a small crack on the edge (visible in photos).
