^{This is an exceptionally rare antique charm from the Art Nouveau period which depicts an enameled pansy flower with variegated color. The enameling is in superb condition; the colors remain vivid. The bloom represents remembrance, or thinking of someone. The word pansy derives from the French word pensée, which means thought. The flower has become a symbol of remembrance for loved ones.}

^{The charm measures 3/4 of an inch, and is stamped with an Austrian import mark and maker's mark KK to the suspension loop. It is made of .800 silver, and dates to the early 1900's.}
