Vlade Divac played in the NBA for sixteen seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, and Sacramento Kings. He was the first player born and trained outside the United States to play in over 1,000 NBA games. After retiring as a player, Vlade Divac served as the Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager for the Sacramento Kings. He also held the position of President of the Serbian Olympic Committee for two terms (2009-2017) and acted as a government adviser for humanitarian issues in Serbia.
