The cap is close to the original, but not exact. It does hold on, but does not click in super tight. I’ve held it upside down and shook it around and it does not come off, but I’m sure it could come off if you try hard enough since it is lightly secured. If the knob on your Mimic Monkey is a little bit worn and doesn’t hold on tight just use some of that tacky tape for holding posters up and that will hold it fine. There is an R inscribed on the inside of the cap to represent that it is a reproduction.
