It's labelled - F Breton, Me la Duchess a mirecourt 1831 de SMG d'Angloumeme.

It is in generally excellent condition.  There is a small area of scratch on the back, enclosed by the loop.  It has a few minor chips and wear to the varnish as would be expected.

The tone is sweet and mellow and and plays the high notes clearly.  I think it's about grade 6 level ,  it's a lot nicer than the violin I had for grade 5.
