For sale is an original vintage factory BSA Pre-Unit single-cylinder pushrod cover tube assembly. This is a genuine post-war component, clearly stamped with the authentic factory casting number 65-1080 and the original BSA Piled Arms rifle logo.

COSMETIC & STRUCTURAL CONDITION:
The main aluminium casting is in very good structural order. Crucially, the top round flange and the lower wide mounting flange are completely uncracked, unwarped, and free from any historic weld repairs. All screw threads and casing mount holes are in good, useable condition.
The front face retains its original stamped red rifle logo. Please note that the small rectangular chrome inspection plate shows heavy pitting, flaking, and surface rust due to age. This plate is easily unbolted and can be re-chromed or replaced by the buyer to complete a concours restoration.
This component features the casting number 65-1080, identifying it strictly as the pushrod tunnel shroud for standard post-war iron-head Pre-Unit BSA singles manufactured between 1946 and 1960.
