Two African Giraffes that are hand carved out of stone and polished off to a smooth finish.

This Giraffe stone sculpture is of two Giraffes that are wound around grazing on a tree forming a heart between them.

Stands 28cm high.

The stone used is Soapstone and the stone giraffes are set in the natural colour of the stone.

The artist that hand carved these stone Giraffes originates from Zimbabwe where you can find some of the best hand carved stone statues.

Soapstone is often use by the local Zimbawean crafters also known as Shona crafters and is naturally found in browns to black tone colours.

It is an easy stone to shape and natural stone that is found in certain areas of Zimbabwe.
