This vintage pair of Bohemian Czech salt and pepper shakers features 24% lead crystal construction with lucite caps. Standing at 6 inches tall, the clear glass shakers have a classic European style and are unmarked as to brand. These original pieces are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any dining table, blending in seamlessly with a variety of decor styles.


Origin: Czechoslovakia (modern-day Czech Republic). Bohemia has been a world-renowned epicenter for high-quality hand-cut lead crystal since the 18th century.

Company/Brand: They are typically attributed to Bohemia Crystal or Pasco (the Pacific Stained Glass Company, a major mid-century importer of fine European crystal).

Year/Era: They date back to the 1940s to 1950s. During this era, matching screw-on crystal/glass caps were highly popular before plastic and metal tops took over utility tableware production. This set has lucite tops which was common in the 50s-60s.
