Antique Louis XV Style Sterling Silver Thimble Ketcham & McDougall * Circa 1890s This beautiful thimble has an ornate scrolling Louis XV style rim on the band and a scalloped rim. It was made by Ketcham & McDougall and it has their trademark and "Sterling" stamped inside the top. The size (11) is on the band and it has no personalization. The condition is excellent, crisp and in round with no holes, dents or repairs. This thimble is shown on p. 75 (Plate 52-4) of Gay Ann Rogers' book American Silver Thimbles.
