On offer is a Mamiya C33 sold for Repair or Spares

The Mamiya C33 was introduced in 1965 as an “upgrade” to the C3, with which you manually cock the shutter. The C33 alleviated this.

Overall the body is in OK condition – the odd scuff here and there with some paint loss. (mainly on the bottom – see all pics for overall cosmetic appearance) Looking closely all round, the strap lugs are different lengths and the other thing I noticed is the centre of the lens lock/unlock knob is missing. No inconvenience – just cosmetically annoying!

It does wind on with no problem and the back opens and snaps shut with no problem (although the light seals appear in good condition, I cannot guarantee they are as I have not film tested it) Likewise, the bellows look to be in very good condition.

The lens is a 135mm, excellent for portraiture but I'm not sure if the optics are clear of any fungus or scratches and I note the aperture blades speeds stick open at 1/8 or slower. Definitely it will need a service if intending to use.

It is fitted with the Nippon-Kogaku Porrofinder that although is great for eye level photography, is not as bright and clear as what a waist level finder would be….

So there it is. A solid heavy workhorse that needs some love and attention – thus selling as spares or repair - please bear all this in mind

Thanks for looking……GH
