This listing is for a very rare Jewish merchant trade token from Cafe Goldschmidt in Frankfurt, Germany. Cafe Goldschmidt was located in the Jewish Quarter next to the Boernestrasse Synagogue. Post World War II very few Jewish German trade tokens still exist. The Center for Jewish History has a single photo in their collection which pictures this Cafe. I have also found an 1897 postcard and a mention in a 1905 newspaper with ads for other Jewish-owned businesses. I have added all 3 photos to the photos section of the description.
