1989 Talbot Elddis Autoquest 400 For Spares or Repairs. We used this up until a couple of years ago until the damp took hold. Run and drives but will need to be trailered away due to brakes needing attention and no MOT

Good bits:

Only 46000 miles on the clock

New reconditioned carb costing £360

New ignition system (Spark Plugs, Distributor, Coil, HT Leads and ignition module)

Chassis is in good condition for age. (Never welded as far as I can tell)

Exhaust is relatively new.

Has original manual and some paperwork

Not far from being MOT exempt

Bad Bits:

Brakes require an overhaul (pedal spongey)

The body is in poor condition and the van has leaked in several places. (We’ve stopped most of this using acrypol but there is still some damp)

Interior Requires multiple repairs from the leaks.

The new Carb needs a tune up.
