I never was lucky enough to own a drafting machine when I was in Architecture school. When I saw one at an estate sale, i grabbed it. This one still needs a good cleaning. There was one scale arm on it, but oy looks to be broken at the end. Im not sure how long it should have been, unbroken. It seems like jt is missing a half inch. The gears turn and lock as expected. Its heavy.
