My grandfather appeared on stage with Eleanor Painter in the 1920s and she signed this picture for him. Grandpa gave the photo to my father, and in his move, he finally found this photo, so I can make this available to you. My grandfather's stage name was Ben Jacklow.
I saw a few Eleanor Painter autographs posted earlier today, but I didn't see any when I went to post this. I expect she was a pioneer in many ways. She and my grandfather appeared in The Last Waltz.
