Original vintage Salmon Series postcard featuring the experimental Westland Pterodactyl aircraft.

The reverse describes it as:

"The 'Pterodactyl' – A new type of aeroplane for which automatic stability is claimed. An all-metal biplane with four propellers. The engines are mounted in a central engine room in the fuselage."

Published by J. Salmon Ltd., Sevenoaks, England, Salmon Series No. 3510. An excellent collectible for aviation, RAF and experimental aircraft enthusiasts.
