Vintage Barbour International Suit comprising the sought-after M12 jacket and matching M13 trousers.

A genuine Made in England Barbour International Suit believed to have been military issued, complete with original NATO stock markings.

Complete M12/M13 suits are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This example has been left in its original, unrestored condition, preserving the honest military-used patina and character developed through years of service.

The jacket retains its original Barbour International chest patch, Barbour ring zip pull, corduroy collar, underarm ventilation eyelets and classic four-pocket design. The matching M13 trousers retain their original side leg zips, ankle adjustment straps and buckles.

Condition

Fair vintage used condition overall with honest signs of military service and age. Despite the wear described below, the outer waxed cotton remains very presentable and the matching suit displays well.

The jacket shows expected signs of service wear, including wear and fraying to sections of the lower internal lining, light fraying to the cuffs, and a small hole to one cuff, all shown in the photographs. The original waist belt is not present. The matching M13 trousers are in good vintage condition with honest age-related wear and remain very presentable.

General fading, creasing and patina throughout are consistent with an original military-issued garment and add to its character.

This suit has intentionally not been cleaned, repaired, rewaxed or reproofed, allowing the next owner to decide whether to preserve its original military-used appearance or sympathetically restore it.

This is an increasingly scarce matching M12/M13 set that will appeal to collectors of Barbour, vintage military clothing and classic motorcycle apparel.
