This Shure 1000ED P-Mount cartridge is NOS new old stock. The needle is NOS also, the original N105E elliptical.  It was probably made in the 1980s, or even earlier.  I tested it thoroughly to be sure it works correctly, so you can buy with confidence.   I have inspected it visually under high magnification, checked it electronically, and tested it for sound production.  It works as it should.
