Introduction

Shrub or small tree, up to 10 m tall, densely clothed with yellowish hair. Leaves , usually drying pale brownish-green above, pale green below; lamina 4-11(-16.5) x 2.5-8.5(-13) cm, hairy on both surfaces, stellate above, wooly beneath; petiole (0.3-)0.8-2.4(-7.0) cm long. Inflorescenes 5-10 (-20)cm long, densely stellate-hairy. Flowers white, solitary or in small clusters. Capsule 8-10 mm diameter, subglobose, densely long, white stellate or branched-hairy. Seeds 5 x 3.5 mm, dull brown.
