Each week I bring you vintage early radio items. I have been collecting radios, phonographs, and music boxes for 50 years, and always have something interesting for sale. Here up for bid is this beautiful looking, working, circa 1916 Sears Roebuck loose coupler tuner for early radio use. The wood case is solid, and the original finish looks great. The metal tag on the base is quite readable. The wiring on the coils is tight. This tuner is on excellet condition. There are two factory mounting holes with brass  eyelets. This was used with a crystal detector to make a radio. The coupler measures 18" by 6" by 6.5". Buyer pays $25 shipping to 48 states. Overseas buyer pays $95 shipping.
