An antique Persian Qajar underglaze-painted fritware beaker, 19th century, decorated with a portrait of a figure reserved on a white ground within leafy scrolls and blue and black floral border bands, painted in cobalt, green, manganese and black.
Height 14.5 cm, diameter 10.7 cm.
Condition: broken and reassembled from numerous fragments with losses; currently held with an external wrapping; structurally fragile, sold strictly as found for restoration or display.
