This 12-piece sweet corn serving set is stamped N-73 U.S.A. produced by Camark Pottery in Camden, Arkansas.
History & Markings: Maker: Camark Pottery (active from the 1920s to the 1980s). The N-73 mold code corresponds to a minimalist all-white vitrified ceramic set. The Set: The full "N-73" sets typically included a large corn-ear-shaped pitcher (for iced tea or melted butter), individual corn plates/holders, and matching salt and pepper shakers. Manufactured between 1946 to 1961.
This complete vintage N-73 heavy ceramic set includes 12 matching pieces designed for summer dining: One 8-Inch Pitcher: This is the anchor piece of the set and carries the explicit "N-73 U.S.A." stamp on the bottom. One Large Serving Tray: Measures approximately 10 5/8" x 8" to hold a pile of freshly boiled corn. One Salt & One Pepper Shaker: Formed in the shape of upright corn ears with rubber bottom stoppers. Eight Individual Corn Dishes: Curved 9 1/4" x 3 1/2" plates sculpted like husked corn, designed to cradle single ears of corn and catch dripping butter.
A couple of the holders is missing it's enameled finish around edge, NO other damage found.
