You'll feel like you're in the golden era of rock 'n' roll when you start strumming on the G5420T. Equipped at the bridge and neck are Filer'Tron pickups, incredible powerhouses if you're after that glorious, retro feel. Every note will be projected from the speakers with a warm, full-bodied sonic nature, immersing you and your audience immediately. Plus, thanks to such wondrous definition and sustain, you can be sure to slice through any thick mix - especially when you inject some luscious warbles and shimmer courtesy of the Bigsby B60.
That's not all. The controls of this guitar - 2x volume, master volume, and master tone - have been carefully chosen and located to allow for effortless sound sculpting. You'll have high-quality tones no matter what you play, all tailored to your taste. There's a treble bleed circuit too, which means that those glorious highs will ring through, even at low volumes.
...there's nothing quite like it. The body has been crafted from maple - a clever tonewood choice. Maple has the ability to reduce the dreaded feedback usually associated with hollow body guitars, so you can deliver every note with supreme clarity. Pure sonic goodness. Team this with trestle block bracing, and you have exceptional snap, attack, and sustain - the ultimate tonal concoction.
Prepare for silky-smooth fretting. The classic "C" shape of the maple neck and 12"-radius laurel fretboard allow for such a desirable feat. Dance across the frets without anything holding you back, deliver those riffs seamlessly, and slide right to the top of the fretboard in effortless fashion. Every inch of the G5420T has been crafted to make your playing experience as easy and comfortable as possible.
