Detailed Description

This Bristan rigid riser shower provides a complete showering system with separate overhead and handheld outlets. Its polished chrome finish gives the shower a clean appearance that works well in modern bathroom spaces, walk-in enclosures, wet rooms and many over-bath installations.

The thermostatic cartridge helps maintain a stable water temperature when the pressure or temperature of the incoming water supply changes. A preset 38°C safety stop helps prevent the temperature from being increased accidentally. The control can still be overridden when a hotter shower is required.

Automatic shut-off protection stops the shower if either the hot or cold water supply fails. This provides additional protection against sudden temperature changes and makes the shower a practical choice for busy family bathrooms.

Safe Touch Valve Technology

Conventional exposed metal shower valves can become hot while hot water passes through them. Bristan Safe Touch technology helps keep the outside of the valve cooler during normal showering.

This reduces the risk of accidentally touching an uncomfortably hot valve surface. It is particularly useful in homes with children, older users or anyone who may touch the valve for support while showering.

Safe Touch should not be treated as a substitute for thermostatic temperature control or appropriate installation. However, it provides an additional layer of protection alongside the 38°C safety stop and automatic shut-off feature.

Dual Showering Options

The fixed overhead shower delivers wide water coverage for a comfortable drench-style shower. The separate single-function handset provides greater flexibility for rinsing, cleaning the enclosure or everyday showering.

An integrated diverter allows the user to switch between the overhead shower and handset. Separate controls make it easy to adjust the water flow and temperature independently.

Adjustable Rigid Riser

The telescopic rigid riser can be adjusted during installation to suit the available ceiling height and preferred position of the overhead shower.

This flexibility makes the shower suitable for a wide range of installations, including:

• Standard Shower Enclosures
• Walk-In Shower Areas
• Wet Rooms
• Many Over-Bath Installations
• New & Replacement Shower Installations

Easy Cleaning & Installation

Rub-clean nozzles on both shower heads allow limescale and debris to be removed by wiping the flexible nozzles with a finger or cloth.

The included fast-fit wall mounting kit helps simplify the installation of the exposed bar valve. It can also make replacing an existing bar shower more straightforward where the plumbing and pipe centres are suitable.
