The Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR is a prime lens designed for the Fujifilm X-mount system, delivering an equivalent focal length of 76mm (35mm format), making it ideal for portraiture and short-telephoto applications. It features a bright maximum aperture of f/2, allowing effective subject isolation and smooth background rendering, while maintaining a compact and lightweight form factor. The optical construction is composed of 9 elements in 7 groups, including one aspherical ED element, which minimizes chromatic aberration and distortion while ensuring sharpness across the frame. 
The lens is built with a weather-resistant design, sealed against dust and moisture, and operable in temperatures down to -10°C, enhancing reliability in outdoor and challenging environments. The metal construction, combined with an aperture ring featuring 1/3-step clicks, provides precise manual control and a solid tactile feel.
