This lot includes three vintage Kodachrome slides showing San Francisco maritime subjects and waterfront views in August 1957. One slide shows the deck of the historic sailing ship Balclutha, with the ship’s name clearly visible on a wooden deck fixture and Alcatraz Island seen across the bay in the background. Another slide looks across the San Francisco waterfront toward Telegraph Hill and Coit Tower, framed by ship rigging, masts, waterfront buildings, parked cars, and a nearby sailing vessel. As expected with unrestored vintage slides, there are visible dust specks, small surface marks, and minor edge wear, with some darker exposure and muted tones in the large docked-ship view. Overall, the group remains attractive, readable, and very presentable, with excellent dated San Francisco maritime and waterfront subject matter.
