Western Military Academy, Alton Illinois vintage photo album. Many identified photos and lots of athletic photos - track etc. Album itself has some spine damage and loose pages as well as edge wear on many edges including jagged edges or little tears. Original owner was Charles Bergesch son of Harry Bergesch. Some typing and writing on some photos. Dated 1931 but I'm sure spans a few years. Later photos appear to be from post-graduation and active service. Includes letter acknowledging application for son to dad dated 1930. Family was a known wealthy family with roots in St. Louis and later in Beverly Hills.
